Re-Occurring Events


Oroville Book Club will meet on the first Tuesday of each month, (October through May), noon to 2 p.m., to discuss selected books. Books are available in the Library and avid readers are welcomed to attend meetings. More info: Glenda Sewell, 476- 2526.

OLCB (Oroville Library and Community Board) will meet on the last Friday of each month, 4 – 6 p.m. The public is always welcomed to attend as the board oversees the library building needs, Farmers’ Markets, and Civic Room needs and use. More info: Salley Bull, 560-3624.

FOL (Friends of the Oroville Library) will meet on the second Wednesday of each month, at noon to 2 p.m. The public is always welcomed to attend and help the FOL with planning fund raising and social events that benefit the Oroville Community Library. More info: Susan Geisler: 476-4965.

Royal Neighbors will meet on the third Wednesday of each month, noon to 2 p.m. Royal Neighbors organizes social and fund raising events to benefit our area and encourages those interested to come to the meetings. More info: Susan Geisler, 476-4965.

OSF (Oroville Scholarship Foundation) will meet on the third Thursday of each month, 4-6 p.m. OSF oversees endowments and organizes fund raising events to pay for scholarships for present year and former year graduates of Oroville High School. OSF welcomes anyone interested in helping achieve their goals. More info: orovillescholarshipfoundation.org.

Adult Education Outreach Program, under the direction of Margo Thompson, holds classes each Tuesday evening from 5-7 p.m. More info: Margo Thompson, North Country Christian School, 485-2011.
